Gram Gourav Pratishthan’s (GGP) impactful water management projects. Since 1974, GGP has been dedicated to sustainable, equitable, and integrated water management in Pune district. With a focus on stabilizing agriculture-based economies and providing rural employment, GGP has successfully implemented 54 small community lift irrigation schemes in Tehsil Purandar and tribal areas of Junnar – Ambegaon – Khed.
DDF’s involvement: Funding a water conservation project which involves desilting and repair work in small dams, building MIPATEX HDPE 300 micron pond for leakage treatment etc all of which will help stop soil erosion , enable drinking water for the village throughout the year, and increases ground water level.
