Their mission emphasizes ‘Last Mile connectivity’ to ensure healthcare support for vulnerable older individuals through community-level interventions. DDF supports this mission by funding the expenses of 200 elderly individuals in the Mankhurd slums of Mumbai for a year, covering essential supplies and services.
DDF’s involvement:DDF currently supports the Vriddha Mitra program by funding the annual expenses for 200 elderly residents of the Mankhurd slums in Mumbai. This support includes essential supplies such as food and medicines, as well as vital services like doctor visits, ambulance services, and the provision of wheelchairs.
